Statistics Misapplication and Countermeasures in Medical Papers Preparation

目的为医学论文撰写中正确使用统计方法提供参考。方法总结分析了医学论文在科研设计、资料描述与分析上存在的统计误用问题。结果医学论文中的统计误用主要包括:①实验设计违背随机、对照、重复和均衡原则;②数据描述欠准确;③不考虑资料的特点,盲目套用统计分析方法;④结果表达与解释中混淆统计意义与实际意义。针对这些问题,提出了医学论文撰写中的注意事项和相应对策。结论医学论文中的统计误用问题普遍存在。医学科研工作者应加强学习,提高将实际问题转化为统计问题的能力。

Objective To supply reference for appropriate application of statistics in medical paper preparation. Methods Statistics misapplication problems in research design, material description and analysis in medical papers were summarized. Results Statistics misapplication problems mainly included that ① the randomization, control, replication and equalization principles were violated, ② the material description was not appropriate, ③statistical methods were misused regardless of the characteristics of the data and ④ statistical and practical meanings were confused in results explanation. Items that should be noted and the countermeasures in medical paper preparation were presented. Conehtsion Statisticcs misapplication commonly exists in medical papers. Medical researchers should strengthen the learning on statis tic theory and improve the ability of transforming the practical issues into the statistical issues.
