摘要
用SiO2和环氧基硅烷偶联剂对纳米TiO2进行修饰合成功能化纳米TiO2(sTiO2-O),然后与聚丙烯/尼龙6共混物进行熔融共混制备了sTiO2-O/PP/PA6纳米复合材料。通过拉伸、冲击等力学性能测试并结合扫描电镜对分散相尼龙6尺寸大小观察表明,由于功能化纳米粒子表面环氧基与PA6中氨基能发生化学反应,有效提高了两相的界面作用;少量纳米TiO2的加入使分散相尼龙6尺寸大幅度减小,并使复合材料拉伸和冲击强度大幅度提高,由此表明功能化纳米TiO2对不相容PP/PA6共混物具有良好的增容作用。
The nanometer-sized TiO2 were firstly coated with a silica nanofilm and pretreated by silane coupling agent containing epoxy,and then blended with polypropylene(PP)/polyamide 6(PA6) blends.The compatibilizations of the functionalized-TiO2 on the PP/PA6 blends were investigated by means of scanning electron microscopy(SEM).SEM observation shows the domain size of the dispersed PA6 phase significantly decreases with the addition of nanometer-sized TiO2.Due to the epoxy-functionalized TiO2 can react with amino group of PA6,a stronger interfacial adhesion between nanometer-sized TiO2,PP and PA6 is obtained,which was confirmed by mechanical analysis.The improved mechanical properties and decreased dispersed PA6 domain indicate the nanometer-sized TiO2 plays the role of coupling species between the two polymers.Therefore,a clear compatabilization effect is induced by nanometer-TiO2 in the immiscible PP/PA6 blends.
