摘要
中国饮食文化博大精深、源远流长是来华外宾了解中国文化的一个重要窗口。以中西饮食文化差异为视角,研究中国菜肴的英译原则、英译基础元素和英译方法,可以较准确形象地英译中国菜名,使外国友人在品尝中国菜肴美味的同时,还能从菜名中了解中国菜肴的烹调艺术和文化内涵。
Chinese diet culture, with a long history, is rich and profound, which has become an important window for the foreign guests to get acquainted with Chinese culture. The rules, basic elements and ways of Chinese-English translation of Chinese dishes are studied from the angle of Chinese-western food culture difference. It can help us translate the Chinese dishes more correctly and vividly, with a result that the foreigners can easily understand the cooking craft and cultural connotation while they are enjoying the dainty food.
