An introduction was made on the geological conditions of tunnel of Furonghe Hydropower Station located in Longsheng County of Guangxi. For the tunnel construction in shattered fault zone, the adopted construction principles include pilot support pipe, strict grouting injection, short-time of excavation, slight blasting, strong supports, rapid closing, frequent measuring, fast feedback. The technical process and quality control measures of pre-supporting small-tube-shed construction method were also adopted.
