在中国小说由传统向现代转化的过程中,徐卓呆短篇小说创作在小说题材的变革、艺术方式的突破、对照手法的妙用和语言风格的创新等方面,为小说的发展做出了杰出的贡献。
In the transformation of Chinese novel from the traditional to the modern, Xu Zhuodai has made outstanding contributions mainly in the following aspects： the transformation of the novel theme, the breakthrough of the artistic mode, the delicate use of contrast technique and the innovation of language style.
