摘要 实现一种数字图像压缩编码方法。该方法首先应用LBG算法对数字图像进行矢量量化编码,然后对矢量量化编码所得的最佳码书的索引进行Huffman编码。该方法的图像压缩比可以达到17.2:1。 A digital image compression encoding method is realized in the paper.The method obtains the VQ encoding of a digital image by the LBG algorithm.Then the Huffman encoding of the best codebook index is gained from the VQ encoding.The ratio of image compression is 17.2∶1.
