Analysis of the "Home Dream" for the Three Female Characters in A Raisin in the Sun

美国著名黑人女剧作家洛琳.汉斯贝莉的剧作《阳光下的干葡萄》描叙了上世纪中期芝加哥一个黑人家庭在种族歧视与不公的社会中求生存的故事。剧中的三位女性——妈妈蕾拉、儿媳露丝、女儿毕丽莎都有着对"家园"梦想执著而坚韧的追寻。但在当时社会环境下,她们的梦想都受到了白人、男权社会的两重抑制。

A Raisin in the Sun,written by the well-known American black female playwright Lorraine Hansberry,depicts the life struggle of a black family in the racial discrimination society in Chicago in 1950 s.The three female characters-Lena（Mama）,Ruth（daughter-in-law）,Beneatha（daughter） all share a dream in their pursuit-the ＂Home Dream＂.However,in the circumstances of 1950 s in America,the ＂Dream＂ is repressed by both the white dominance and the male chauvinism.
