By the experience of the pilot work of online exam system conducted by China Central RTV University as well as the machine work of nationally unified test for some public basic courses of network education in colleges and universities and according to the characteristics of the examination system, the reform of web - based course examination in modern distance education should take full account of cost - effectiveness, system management, operation mechanism and basic skill training of staff.
