Enlightenments on the Construction of Socialist New Countryside from Deng Xiaoping's Thoughts on Agricultural Modernization

邓小平十分重视农业的发展,认为发展农业不仅要树立农业是国民经济基础的思想,而且要走中国特色的农业现代化之路。针对当前中国农业现状,以邓小平农业现代化思想为指导,应当进一步巩固和加强农业基础地位,加快农业科技创新,加大农业投入,多渠道地扎实推进农业现代化建设进程。

Deng Xiaoping attached great importance to agricultural development,and thought that in order to develop agriculture,people should not only set the idea of agriculture＇s being the base of national economy,but also develop in the manner with Chinese characteristics.According to China＇s current agricultural situation,guided by Deng Xiaoping＇s thoughts on agricultural modernization,this paper argues that it is necessary to further consolidate the fundamental position of agriculture,to promote agriculture scientific and technology innovation,to enlarge investment on agriculture and to promote steadily the procession of agriculture modernization construction through various channels.
