摘要
省略撇号口语化缩写形式在书面正式语体中的不恰当及过度使用,往往影响文章论述的严肃性及公信度。教师在日常教学中,对这一问题应引起重视,帮助学习者了解并掌握正式文体与非正式文体中语言使用的不同规范,并可以利用英语母语语料库中的真实语料,对此类口语化缩写使用情况加以补充说明,以提高语言学习者的语体意识。
The overuse of English contractions in writing tends to deduce the formality and sincerity of the tone of a piece of work.In their daily teaching,language teachers should help English learners get aware of the style difference.They may also take use of the English copra with examples of authentic language data to illustrate the use of contractions in writing.Therefore,English learners＇ awareness of style can be expected to get improved.
