抗战中期,华北根据地遭受了天灾敌祸的双重侵袭,给根据地造成了巨大损失,根据地面临着严重的财政经济危机,威胁着根据地的生存和发展。根据地党和政府与八路军响应中央号召,认真执行精兵简政的政策,从而减轻了人民负担,提高了工作效率和部队战斗力,也使得根据地渡过危机,得以生存和发展壮大。

During the interim of anti-Japanese Imperialism War,Huabei（North China） Base Area suffered from serious natural calamity,along with Japanese army＇s crazy mop,all of these made the base area suffered huge loss,the base area confronted serious financial and economic crisis,which threatened the existence and development of Huabei Base Area.The Party,government and the Eighth Route Army of the base area answered the central committee＇s call,who implemented the policy of streamlining sincerely,so it reduced the people＇s burden,and increased the government＇s efficiency and army＇s fights,besides,it pulled the base area through crises,and developed further.
