准时化管理是无浪费管理，即“在正确的时刻、正确的地方，得到精确数量的材料和产品”。本文系统地介绍了生产过程和服务过程中的准时化管理的具体方法及其重要手段——电子数据交换——在供应链管理中所起的作用。

Just-in-Time' Management means providing the exact quantity of needed items at the precise moment and the right place when and where it is required, aiming to eliminate waste completely. This paper introduces the meas of implementation of JIT process in both manufacturing and service and the role of Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) process in the Supply Chain Management.
