加工仿真是虚拟制造的核心技术之一,VERICUT是一种数控加工仿真专用软件,可实现加工轨迹仿真和机床运动仿真。因为软件价格高昂,所以目前多应用于大型军工企业中,对应用于其他行业的相关研究较少。文中以加工汽缸盖模具为例,详细论述了VERICUT环境下数控加工仿真的完整过程,为模具加工行业提供有意义的参考。

CNC Machining Simulation is one of the core technologies of hypothesized manufacture. VERICUT is a kind of three-dimensional software, which can realize both tool path simulation and machine simulation. In this article, the whole process of CNC maehining simulation under VERUCUT environment was demonstrated with a typical example of a cylinder cover mold machining.
