Designation and Implementation of UHDL Languageand Its Compiler

本文介绍了一种通用硬件描述语言——UHDL及其编译器的设计与实现。该语言具有多层次硬件描述能力,良好的程序设计风格和丰富的数据类型,能够支持从系统级到门级的模拟过程。该语言编译器已在MICRO—VAXⅡ上用C语言实现。为了较好说明UHDL语言及其编译器的性能,本文各部分均给出了相应的示例。

UHDL-A Universal Hardware Description Language and its compiler is presented in this paper. UHDL enables hierarchical hardware description, has good style of structural programming, provides rich data types and supports simulation from gate level to system level. The compiler for UHDL has been realized in C Language on MICRO-VAX I. Examples are given in each part of the the paper in order to illustrate the performances of the language and its compiler.
