Just like the bronze inscriptions, Dunhuang documents and ancient Tibetan literature, the ancient Chinese history literature is the precious history literature to study the ancient civilization, ancient Tibetan history, the ancient religion and ethnic relations. It is of great importance for the Tibet history teaching and research to precisely study Tubo Tsanpos＇ titles and their origin. By applying the methods of history study, linguistics and translation, the paper verifies the origin and change of Tubo Tsanpos＇ titles in ancient Chinese history literature and the relative historical background and culture phenomena of the period.
