20世纪90年代中期以来欧美日劳动生产率差距分析

Disparities in the Labor Productivity among the EU,US and Japan since the Mid-1990s

本文采用EU-KLEMS数据库,从要素贡献分解和产业部门层次两个角度对20世纪90年代中期以来欧美日劳动生产率差距进行分析。从要素贡献分解看,欧盟和日本全要素生产率增长率低于美国是三大经济体劳动生产率差距扩大的主要原因;从产业部门层次看,市场服务业特别是物流业和金融商业服务业的全要素生产率增长率是形成劳动生产率差距的关键。

Disparities in the economic growth and labor productivity among the EU,US and Japan started to emerge in the mid-1990s.This paper makes use of the EU-KLEMS database to explore the determinants of the disparities from two aspects:factor decomposition and industrial sectors.Seen from the first aspect,it is the total factor productivity that contributes most significantly to the disparities;while from the second one,it is the market service industry(especially distribution and financial business service)that produces the greatest impacts on the disparities.
