Integration of tradition and modernity,nationalism and internationalism:The Analysis of musical elements characteristic of Kodály Zoltán's Missa Brevis

本文通过对柯达伊晚年重要作品——《小弥撒曲》的体裁、曲式、曲调、调式、和声、管风琴音色及织体等音乐要素特征的分析,展现出柯达伊音乐创作中传统与现代、匈牙利民族音乐与欧洲主流音乐多元融合的特征,并具体归纳为对传统音乐形式的继承与创新;多种音乐风格的渗透与融合;音响色彩与情感内涵的相互吻合等三个方面。

This essay is an analysis of musical elements features of Kodaly Zoh（m＇ s important work in his late years-Missa Brevis, of which the genre, musical form, melody, mode, harmony, organ timbre and texture showed the integration of tradition and modernity , the hungarian folk music and the european mainstream. The features were summarized into three aspects： the inheritance and innovation of traditional musical form; the penetration and fusion of multiple musical styles; and the consistent of sound color and emotional connotation.
