Seventy years progress of the Department of Geology,Northwest University,witnessed the hard renaissance,rapid growth,and prospering of our motherland. This paper presents the superiority and characteristics of our department in the disciple construction,scientific research and talents cultivation,which were formed through the hard work of several generations of our department.
