Investigation of micro powder injection molding of ceramic gear

摘要 研究了采用微注射成形技术(μPIM)制造含Y2O3稳定剂的ZrO2微型齿轮。在含模温控制系统的注射机上注射成形,确定了注射参数,包括模具温度、注射压力和注射速度等。在室温下用C2HCl3溶液对注射样品脱脂,通过研究喂料和粘结剂的热分解性能,确定热脱和烧结工艺。结果显示,样品填充率高,表面光滑,有较高的致密度和表面硬度。 The method for forming micro gear of yttrium oxide stabilized tetragonal zireonia by μ-PIM (Micro Powder Injection Molding) was analyzed. The micro gears were injected by injection molding machine which contains molding temperature controlling system. Appropriate molding parameters were determined according to shaping quality of samples. These parameters included mold temperature, injection pressure and injection speed. The binder system was removed by C2 HCI3 solution firstly. Then appropriate parameters of thermal degreasing and sintering were determined by analysis on thermal decomposition properties of feedstock and binder system. The results show that the micro gears have low roughness and high relative density. Besides, the micro gears have high surface hardness and little internal defect.
