对城市工业旧址改造、利用的尝试——以“武汉万科茂园”为例

An Experiment in Adaptations and Utilizations of Urban Industrial Sites-The Case of Mao Yuan Garden at Wuhan

本文通过对武汉万科茂园景观规划、设计构思的记述探讨针对城市普通工业旧址的改造与利用。在此过程中,以非具象的中国典型园林空间再定义工业旧址场所,使保留的厂址空间最终呈现其再生的功能与价值,因为我们确信大量"普通的"、以明确目的建造的场所(比如:工厂)中蕴涵着这些并未预设的功能与价值。

By recounting the landscape planning and design schemes of Mao Yuan Garden at Wuhan, this article explores issues regarding the adaptations and utilizations of conventional urban industrial sites. In this process, the design approach applied Chinese classical non-figurative garden space in redefining a former industrial place, to ultimately achieve rejuvenating functions and values within the preserved factory space. We firmly believe that a large number of ＂ordinary＂ and purposely built places, factories for instance, contain such non-predicted functions and values.
