摘要
通过分析参考咨询系统的功能和非功能需求,并结合对现有虚拟参考咨询方法优缺点的考察,指出对非实时参考咨询方法进行改进使之具备适当的实时性是建立基于Web的实时虚拟参考咨询系统的一条合理途径。据此,利用AJAX等技术对基于Web的表单提问形式的参考咨询系统进行了改进。改进后的虚拟参考咨询系统克服了原有系统实时性和交互性差的缺点,能够较好地满足图书馆开展虚拟参考咨询服务的需要。
The functional requirements and non-functional requirements of a reference system are analyzed in this article, and then, the advantages and disadvantages of current virtual reference methods are discussed. As a result, it is pointed out that one of the proper ways of realizing a web based real-time virtual reference system is to enhance the real time performance of a non-real time reference method. Therefore, the AJAX and other technologies are adopted to improve the virtual reference system which was developed by using web forms. The new virtual reference system overcomes disadvantages of the old system and meets the library＇s requirements on reference service well.
