市场社会视角对新技术时代的解读

Analytical Interpretation on the "New Era of Technology" from the Perspective of "Market Society"

本文从新技术时代特征的意义上对新卢德主义者J.曼德尔(J.Mander)和K.塞尔(K.Sale)的观点加以归纳梳理,并尝试运用卡尔.波兰尼的市场社会的概念和双向互动思想,从市场社会角度分析、讨论并引申对新卢德主义关于新技术时代特征思想的理解,由此阐释我们对于全球化时代技术特性与时代特性的思考和把握。本文认为,新卢德主义的技术逻辑批判是对市场逻辑和资本逻辑的批判,新卢德主义的技术批判思想正是技术与市场、资本的逻辑脱离社会控制而导致的社会政治反抗的一种表现形式。

The paper has two main objectives： 1） it summarizes the theoretical thoughts of two Neo-Luddite scholars, J. Mander and K. Sale, on the characteristics of the ＂New Era of Technology＂ ; 2） it attempts to apply the Polanyian concepts of ＂Market Society＂ and ＂Double Movements＂ to discussing and extending the Neo-Luddite conceptualization of the characteristics of the New Era of Technology and to promote a deep understanding of the epochal nexus between the ＂Era of Technology ＂ and the ＂Era of globalization ＂. The paper posits that the critique of Neo-Ludditism on the logic behind the ＂rule by technology＂ can be equally understood as a critique on the logic behind the ＂rule by market and capital＂. The critical attitude of Neo-Ludditism to technology can been identified as a form of social and political reactions to the de social and dehumanization consequences brought about by the disembedment of technology, market and capital from the control of the state and society.
