A Comprehensive Analysis of the Cause of Death of Residents Living in Jiangmen City in 2008

目的探讨江门市居民主要死亡原因,为制定防治对策提供科学依据。方法对2008年江门市居民死亡报告进行统计分析,计算死亡率、死因顺位、构成比等指标。结果 2008年江门市户籍居民报告死亡23 734例,死亡率为701.33/10万,男性死亡率高于女性,死因顺位前十位依次为循环系统疾病、肿瘤、衰老、呼吸系统疾病、损伤和中毒、消化系统疾病、诊断不明、内分泌、营养和代谢疾病、传染病和寄生虫病、泌尿系统疾病,不同性别及不同年龄组人群死因顺位不相同。结论循环系统疾病、肿瘤、呼吸系统疾病、损伤和中毒等疾病已成为我市居民的主要死因,今后疾病防治工作的重点在于进一步健全社区卫生服务,加强慢性非传染性疾病的防治力度,开展伤害监测。

Objective To analyze the leading causes of death of residents living in Jiangmen city so as to provide the science basis for the establishment of prevention and control schemes of diseases. Method The analysis was achieved through the calculation of the death rate and ranking the cause of death reported by the Jiangmen city in 2008. Results There were 23734 reports of death. The death rate was 701.33/100000. The male death rate was higher than the female. The ten leading causes of death, ranked from high to low,were circulatory system disease,tumor, aging,respiratory disease, injury and poisoning, digestive disease, diagnosis unknown, endocrine ,nutritional and metabolic disease, infectious and parasitic disease, and urinary system disease. The different gender group and different age group are not the same as the sequence of death cause. Conclusions Circulatory system disease, tumor, respiratory disease, injury and poisoning are the leading causes of death in Jiangmen city. Further improvement on the community health services,strengthening the prevention and treatment of chronic non-communicable diseases, and injury surveillance should be carried out.
