Travelling between History and Reality——on Tang Dynasty Poems concerning Making Peace with Rulers of Minority Nationalities in the Border Areas by Marriage

唐代和亲诗或吟咏唐朝公主远嫁之事,或反映汉代昭君出塞之历史,在一定程度上代表了唐人对和亲联姻的认识和理解。唐代诗人在关心现实和回顾历史中,努力探求国家安宁、民族和睦的有效途径,表达了他们希望国家早日解决民族纷争、实现天下太平的美好愿望。唐代和亲诗的历史价值和现实意义是值得重视的。

Tang Dynasty poems concerning making peace with rulers of minority nationalities in the border areas by marriage either described the Tang Dynasty princesses marriage with minority rulers or inflected the history of Wang Zhaojun＇s marriage for peaceful purpose in Han Dynasty. These poems inflected the recognition and understanding of marriage for peaceful purpose of people in Tang Dynasty to some extent. The poets in Tang Dynasty tried to seek the effective ways of making peace- ful nation and establishing harmonious relationship among different ethnic groups in concerning the re- ality and reviewing the history, expressing their hopes in addressing the conflict among different na- tionalities, realizing the universal peace. Therefore, it is worth attaching importance to the historical value and realistic meaning of these poems in Tang Dynasty
