The Decameron,which tells about a hundred stories in a realistic way to demonstrate the world of Italy in the 14th century, has melted classical literature and folklore together. This paper explores the narrative structure of the collection of stories from both macro and micro angles and also analyzes the variety of narrative perspectives in this work. It attempts to provide a new perspective to this monumental literary work.
