台湾大学与台湾高等教育的现代化历史省醒

Reflection upon the modernization of Taiwan University and Taiwan's higher education

台湾的高等教育现代化事业在20世纪后半叶经历了一个迅速发展和飞速提高的黄金时期,无论是从办学质量、办学水平还是从办学理念、办学特色而言都堪称是值得推崇和学习的典范。作为台湾地区办学历史最悠久、学科门类最齐全、高等学术人才最集中、影响力最深远的台湾大学,在其中所起到的作用更是功高至伟。以台湾大学的办学理念与贡献为基点和线索,力求探索出一条台湾大学对于台湾地区高等教育现代化之贡献与关系的研究之路,给予省醒,得出启示,以期为现实需要服务。

The second half of the 20th century witnessed the rapid development of modernization of the higher education of Taiwan in the aspects of school-running quality, level, ideas and characteristics, which are worth learning from. As the most prestigious university with the longest history, complete diseiplinary systems and many academic talents, Taiwan University plays the most important role in the modernization. Based on the school-running ideas as well as its achievements of Taiwan University, this paper tries to find the ways which Taiwan University has taken in the process of modemization of higher education in Taiwan so as to get some revelation for today＇ s higher education of China＇ s mainland.
