摘要
对世界四大主要合成纤维工业的发展作了简要回顾，分析了影响合成纤维工业发展的几大要素，预测了１９９８～２００５年合成纤维生产的增长趋势，并对２００５～２０２０年的发展动向作了初步展望。
The article reviews briefly the development of four major kinds of synthetic fibers industry in the world;analyses the main factors influencing its development;forcasts its growth tendency during 1998～2005;and bring forth the primary prospect of developing trends during 2005～2020.
