The ammonia nitrogen detection method was explained, the factors influencing ammonia nitrogen testing result were illustrated,the factor influenced testing blank value and some methods to reduce blank value were generalized,the sample preservation and treating method were discussed,which provided certain reference for ammonia nitrogen detection technology in water analysis with nessler reagent spectrophotometric method.
