Examination of Time Spirit from the Folk Sandpoint——On Xiao Renfu's Novels

湘籍作家肖仁福的小说创作近年来在国内文坛产生了广泛影响。其小说创作的主题意旨,主要从如下三个方面展开:一是对当代少数民族地区民间文化、生存状态、精神特点的体验与叙述;二是基于民间立场对当代官场文化的省察和反思;三是围绕传统士道观念的现代蜕变,对当代知识分子的精神处境进行了持续而深入的探讨。

Xiao Renfu is a Hunan writer, whose novel--writing in recent years has had an extensive impact in the Chinese literature world. The theme of his novel--writing has been expanded mainly in three aspects： First, it is the experience and narration of folk culture,survival condition and spirit feature in the contemporary minority areas; Second, it is the examination and reflection oi＂ the bureaucratic culture in recent times from the folk standpoint; third, it is the continuous and profound exploration of the contemporary intellectual＇s spirit state, with the center of modern transmutation of the Shi Tao ideas.
