The present situation and development trend of China＇s wood processing equipment automation are summarized, and the importance of log scale in wood processing production is described. The necessity and urgency of researching and developing automatic wood autoscalers are analyzed subjectively and objectively. Also, the operating principle, process and function of wood autoscalers are introduced at length.
