Semantic web can be applied to e-knowledge organization, which has some advantages such as improving the qualities of stored knowledge, enhancing capabilities of knowledge retrieval, increasing integration of knowledge organization systems and customer satisfaction. The framework of e-knowledge organization based on the semantic web consists of interface layer, logic layer and resource layer, which includes core contents of semantic description, semantic matching, semantic interoperability and visualization of e-knowl- edge.
