广东省公路管理工作正处于一个继往开来的关键时期,随着大规模公路建设高潮的逐渐消退,公路工作重心必然要转向管理工作。特别是成品油价格和税费改革后,延续了数十年的公路建设、养护、管理筹资方式和资金渠道将发生重大变革。在这种形势下,改革公路行政管理体制,逐步建立适应社会主义市场经济运行规律的公路行政管理体制,努力构筑一个高效、科学、合理的公路管理体系,将是一项紧迫和艰巨的任务。
