Analysis of Propagation Distortion and Calculations of Instantaneous Failure Rate in Digital Microwave Communications with Multilevel Modulation

在数字微波通信方式中,频率选择性衰落引起的波形失真成为传输质量恶化的主要原因,但没有统一的评价方法。本文用波形系数这一新的参量,对各种数字调制方式的传播失真给出统一的评价方法,并且找出干涉衰落时传播参量与波形系数的关系,最后得出视距传播中各种数字调制方式的瞬断率近似式。

In digital microwave communication mode, the waveform distortions caused by frequency-selective fading are the main cause of the propagation quality deterioration. So far, there is no an unified evaluation. In this paper, the unified evaluation of propagation distortion for various digital modulation techniques is given by using a new parameters——waveform coefficient, and the approximating expression of instantaneous failure rate for various digital modulation schemes with interference fading is found.
