Co-presence: from Tradition to Modern

人际交往具有一定的空间基础。现代城市空间影响着交往模式,交往的基础在于共同在场。现代社会共同在场中的交往虽然密集,但却是相当功能性的、职业性的交往,人在深层次上仍不免孤单。对照传统社会的共同在场中的亲近关系,可为重建现代空间提供借鉴。

Interpersonal Communications always take place on site in our society. The city space is one of the factors that determined the feature of communications. The spatial foundation of the communications is the co-presence. Although co-present communications are commonplace in modem society, they are featuring functional and vocational to a deep degree, and even so humans are still lonely in their inner world. The co-present intimate relationship in traditional communities can offer reference for reconstructing the modern space.
