人文精神是人们处理政治、经济、文化和各种生活问题中所体现出来的以强调人的发展和对人的尊重、关心和爱护为内容的思维方式和价值观念。陕西地域历史文化源远流长,人文精神内涵极为丰富。着力弘扬"勇于创新、敢为人先"的炎黄文化精神;"崇德尚义,贵法重功"的周秦文化精神;"开放包容,大气磅礴"的汉唐文化精神;"勤学深思,继往开来"的关学文化精神;"艰苦奋斗,务实创业"的延安革命文化精神,对重塑陕西人的精神风貌,建设社会主义精神文明,促进经济、社会和人的全面发展意义深远。

Humanistic spirit is a thinking mode and value concept embodied to emphasize the human development, respect and care in dealing with political, economic, cultural and living problems. Shaanxi regional historical culture has a long standing and the connotation of its humanistic spirit is very rich： Yan--Huang cultural spirit to carry forward ＂courage to innovate and pioneer＂; Chou-- Chin cultural spirit to imply ＂advocating morality and deontic, emphasizing law and utility＂; Han-- Tang cultural spirit to ＂open and contain with great vitality＂; Guan School cultural spirit to mean ＂diligently studying and deeply thinking, carrying on the past and opening a way for future＂; Yan＇an revolutionary culture spirit to denote ＂hard struggle, concreting matters and venturing＂. All these spirits have far--reaching significance to rebuild the spiritual style of Shaanxi people, to construct the socialistic spiritual civilization, to promote the all--round development of economy, society and human beings.
