摘要
虚拟语气是语言学界具有争议的一个课题。学者们对其见解不一,但大多都基于对其语法结构层面的分析。从认知的视角去关注形式与意义的内在联系,通过解读语法形式的认知意义,揭示该现象的隐喻本质。
The English subjunctive mood is a controversial issue in the linguistic circle. While many linguistic scholars put forward different opinions mainly based on syntactical analysis, this paper views this phenomenon from a cognitive perspective with a focus on the inner connection between form and meaning. By decoding the cognitive meaning behind its grammatical forms, its metaphorical nature is exposed.
