职业学校ESP教学探析

Suggestions on Course Setting and Implementation of ESP in Vocational Schools

调查显示,职业学校毕业生的英语应用能力和企业岗位需求之间有较大差距,问题在于目前职业学校英语教学大多达不到教育部职业学校英语课程标准的要求。针对企业对员工英语能力的需求与所从事专业工作密切联系的客观现实,职业学校也应该重视专业英语教学工作。通过"基础模块+专业模块"课程设置,大力推行专业课的双语教学,真正提高职校毕业生的英语实用能力。

A Suzhou-based survey shows that there is a big gap between the professional needs and the actual language competence of secondary vocational school graduates. And the current English teaching situation can＇t meet the requirements of the new State Curriculum Standard for Vocational School English of the major objectives for foreign language teaching is to cultivate students＇ comprehensive Teaching, that is, one language competence, especially in the professional field. The author attempts to find ways to improve the situation from the perspective of ESP （English for Specific Purposes）. Through module English teaching and bilingual teaching, vocational school students are expected to be more adaptable to their future jobs.
