地理信息系统作为一种分析与处理空间数据与信息的计算机系统，在生态学上的应用前景十分广阔．本文从理论与方法上探讨了地理信息系统在自然保护区经营管理中的应用，从应用概况、系统结构以及使用与维护等方面都作了较为详细的阐述．
As a computer system analysing and dealing with database and information of space,Geographic Information System has a wide use in Ecology In this article,the author discussed the application of GIS in management of Natural Conservation Region including application situation,method and step of research,using and protection of system.
