The study and practice of the scientific outlook on development will give us much insight in our effort to determine the development orientation of the Vocational Technical College of Guizhou University. This paper discusses the development orientation of the Vocational Technical College of Guizhou U- niversity in light of the scientific development outlook. Topics covered include the country＇s macro strategic plan of vocational education development and the necessity of developing Guizhou＇s vocational education.
