摘要 采用种子乳液聚合法合成了丁苯橡胶接枝聚甲基丙烯酸乙酯共聚物(SBR-g-PEMA)。通过与高抗冲聚苯乙烯(HIPS)共混,研究了共混物的力学性能和形态结构。结果发现,在共混物中随着SBR-g-PEMA含量的增加,共混物的抗冲强度和断裂伸长率进一步提高,而屈服强度未表现出明显下降,从而有效地实现了对HIPS的进一步增韧。形态结构研究表明,SBR-g-PEMA与HIPS的基体具有良好的结合力,其尺寸约为1~3μm,并与共混物的力学性能结果表现出很好的吻合。 Poly(butadiene styrene)/poly(ethyl methacrylate)graft copolymers(SBR g PEMA) were synthesized by seeded emulsion polymerization and blended with high impact polystyrene (HIPS). Mechanical behaviour and morphology of the blends were studied. It has been found that the Izod impact strength and elongation at rupture of the blends increase gradually with the increase of the SBR g PEMA copolymer content, while no distinct decrease in the yield strength has been observed. It is concluded that HIPS can be further toughened effectively by blending with the SBR g PEMA copolymer. Morphological study by TEM has revealed that fine SBR g PEMA particals with a size of 1 ̄3 μm are coherent with the HIPS matrix. This agrees well with the mechanical behaviour observed.
