An Analysis of the Connotation and the Framework of Rural Political Development

农村政治发展是在农村特定的历史、社会、文化条件下,适应于农村经济发展的要求,通过农村政治民主程度的增加、农民政治参与的扩大、农村政治稳定水平的提高、农民政治文化素质的提升和农村社会自主性的增强,不断寻求农村政治进步的过程,以期实现农村政治民主、政治稳定和政治平等等政治目标。农村政治发展系统的各个要素在中国农村政治发展中扮演着不同的角色,既相互支撑,又相互冲突。基于中国农村经济文化相对落后的现状,政治稳定在农村政治发展各要素中处于突出地位。

Rural political development is a process of seeking political progress in rural areas under specific historical, social and cultural conditions in the countryside to adapt to the requirements of the rural economic development through promoting political democracy, enlarging political participation, improving political stability and political quality of farmers as well as strengthening social autonomy in rural areas in the hope of achieving political democracy, political stability and political equity. The various elements of rural political development system play different roles in the rural political development. They are both in support of and in conflict with each other. Based on China＇s rural economy status, political stability is in the prominent position in rural political development.
