Radio-over-Fiber combines the advantages of both optic-fiber system and wireless system;it is a very useful solution to（＂the last mile＂.） Recently it is becoming an increasingly important technology for the in-building wireless market.The paper reviews the current application in this field both inland and abroad.A 60 GHz mm-RoF in-building system can offer longer bandwidth and it is the developing trend in the future and penetrates into some other industries.
