优质西瓜新品种玉宝的选育

玉宝是以DY-3为母本,以DQ-21为父本配制而成的中晚熟西瓜一代杂种,全生育期105天,果实发育期32天。果实椭圆形,果形指数1.35,青皮,果肉大红色,中心可溶性固形物含量12.36%,品质优良,口感好,商品性好。平均单瓜质量5.6kg,每亩产量3500kg左右。适宜我国大部分西瓜生产区种植。2009年4月通过河南省农作物品种审定委员会审定,审定编号豫审西瓜2009010。

Yu Bao is a new large sized mid-ripe watermelon variety developed by crossing DY-3 and DQ-21, whole growth period of 105 days, 32 days of fruit development period. Oval-shaped fruit, fruit shape index of 1.35, green , red flesh, the center 12.36% soluble solids content, high quality and good taste, good commercial. Average quality reach to 5.6kg, about 3500kg per 667m2 production. It has been approved by the Provincial Agricultural Crop Cuhivars Assessment Commission as a new watermelon , suitable to be recommended for commercial cultivation in April 2009, validation code 2009010.
