The author discussed children with high fever from exogenous febrile disease point of view, using the theory of six meridians of exogenous febrile disease or the theory of defensive phase, qi phase, nutrition phase, blood phase which mentioned by the theory of seasonal febrile disease, doing treatment based on syndrome differentiation circum spectively, during the treating process, the disease situation changes constantly, the treatment method follows its change, the fever and the symptoms can be relieved immediately, just like the key unfastens the lock. It shows the predominance and feature of traditional Chinese medicine in treating serious symptoms such as high fever and chronic heat.
