信息共享空间(Information Commons,简称IC)是一种新型的图书馆信息服务模式。本文简要概述了信息共享空间的基本理念,明确了高校图书馆构建信息共享空间的必要性,并从空间建设、资源建设和服务建设三方面提出几点高校图书馆构建信息共享空间的建议。

Information commons is a new type of library information service models. This article has briefly outlined the basic concepts of information commons, and has cleared the necessities of university library to build information commons. It has also made a few proposals of university library to build information commons on the aspects of space construction, resource construction and service construction.
