明清易代之际的特殊历史背景,与满清政府为定鼎天下所采取的用人政策,导致清初"贰臣"大量产生,并直接影响着贰臣们的生存境遇。世代传承的儒家所信守的忠孝节义观念,使得贰臣文人承受着来自社会的巨大压力,心理负担沉重,人格心态矛盾复杂,进而导致其文学创作发生巨大嬗变。
