摘要
2008年，在自然灾害与金融危机双重压力下，中国林业总体上保持平稳发展态势，林业事业取得新进展。全年共完成造林面积535．37万hm^2，完成沙化土地治理面积99．76万hm^2；林业重点工程取得新突破，启动了石漠化治理100个试点县；全年实现林业产业总产值14406．41亿元；国际合作与交流层次提高，范围扩大，共争取到德国、澳大利亚、联合国粮农组织等多个国家及国际组织无偿援助项目124个；木材产品供需总量下降，林产品价格水平总体上涨，进出口贸易保持增长，贸易逆差进一步扩大。
In 2008, China forestry kept on steady development as a whole and made new progress under the pressure of natural disasters and finance crisis. In 2008, a total of 5.3537 million ha of plantations was established and 0.9976 million ha of sandification area was treated with. Breaking through was made in key forestry programs and sandificaiton control project initiated in 100 counties. Production value of forestry industry reached 1440.64 billion RMB. The level and scope of international cooperation and exchanges were improved, gaining 124 non-reimbursable assistance projects from German, Austria, FAO, etc. in 2008, supply and demand of forestry products both declined, but the prices increased. The trade of imports and exports kept on increasing and trade deficit expanded.
