Based on the technical scheme of source assimilation for the air quality model CMAQ, the National Basic ＇Theoretical Research Project ＂Air, Water and Soil Environmental Pollution Mechanism and Its Regulating-Controlling Principles in Beijing and Its Ambient Area,＂ in cooperation with the National Meteorological Center, transplanted the model to the IBM supercomputer and established the model system that coupled atmospheric chemistry with meteorology, so to make full use of the meteorological model and computer capacity.
