Analysis on starting failure of SO_2 blower in a 200 kt/a sulphuric acid plant

受现场供电条件的限制,SO_2风机起动采用限流起动模式,生产中因软起动柜主板烧坏造成SO_2风机起动跳闸故障,严重影响正常生产。为防止故障再次发生,根据设备特性和工艺要求专门制定了SO_2风机操作规程并改善现场盘柜的运行环境。

Restricted to site power conditions, SO2 blower adopted a currentlimited star mode. Trip fault oc- curred during start of SO2 blower because of the burnout of motherboard inside soft start cabinet and seriously af- fected normal production. In order to prevent failures from recurring, the operational procedures of SO2 blower were specially developed according to equipment characteristics and process requirements and operating environment of the cabinet was improved.
