摘要
设计出一种前后刀面均为柱面的自由切削刀具,两柱面交线为其切削刃。分析了这种刀具进行自由切削的几何条件和切削刃任意点的切削角度,结果表明:适当增大前后刀面的曲率半径,控制柱面轴线剖面上的前角和后角,就可使切削刃各点的切削处于自由或准自由状态,并能保持固定的流屑方向。
Proposes a kind of free cutting tool with cylindrical rake face and flank face as well as a curved edge, Geometrical conditions to realize free cutting are deduced, and cutting angles at any given point of the curved edge are analysed. It is shown that the cutting process can be operated in a free or quasi-free state by suitably increasing the radius of curvature of the cylinder at the curved edge and controling the longitudinal rake angle γp and the clearance angle αP. A constant direction of chip flow can be maintained under any cutting regimes using this kind of cutting tool.
